The book she's reading is a Winnie-the-Pooh flap book; as I took the picture, she was counting the flaps on the numbers of the clock over and over (well, counting to sixteen over and over—her clock has a few extra hours, apparently).
She's been very interested in words lately; she'll point out a word and say, "Look, Mom—a word!" She loves to write the letter M (for reasons you understand, lol), and lots of them actually look mostly like an M! :-D
What has happened to my baby? And speaking of babies, how did my other baby get to be 3 months old, smiley and laughing and making talking noises so soon?
(As I type this, M is shaking her head and commenting on how the chickens in Chicken Run were "organized." I kid you not.)
The days are long, but the years are short. :-)
How funny that girl is! And I am totally with you... I have no idea how she got that big! I also completely understand that the days are long and the years are short, although only in hind-sight. (How did it get to be the middle of September, by the way? I don't recollect most of July and August.) Love you and your girls and Josh!
